This birthday card just makes me want to sing “I Love Paris in the Springtime.” The eiffel tower from the Stampin’ Up! Collage Curios stamp set takes center stage but the swirly background from the Hearts a Flutter tag helps it along the way.
Each tag was stamped and then punched out with the Postage Stamp punch and popped up with a Stampin’ Dimensional. I loved using the 2011-13 In Colors for a perfect spring color palette: Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party and Whisteria Wonder with a little Pink Pirouette added in.
Here’s another new discovery. TheK-cup Carousel is a perfect caddy for embossing powder and glitter tubs! I reach for my embossing powders almost daily also, so this will be so nice to have handy.
If you were a part of our Facebook discussion the other day, you’ll know that I’m a revealer. We talked about two different organizational styles: revealer and concealer.
I can also store my heat tool in the middle of the carousel. (I’m happy to tell you that I’m finally replacing my heat tool with my Great Rewards points. Another perk of being a part of Stampin’ Up! ) I also rolled up a piece of paper and placed it in the top so I could pull it out to catch my powders and reload my tub when I’m done.
DID YOU GET THE STAMPING JULIE UPDATES THIS WEEK? You can subscribe in the box at the top of the side bar.
FACEBOOK-ONLY SPECIAL! ‘Like’ my facebook page and come back on Monday for the announcement.
I hope you can use one of these craft tool storage ideas. I’m always excited to discover new time-saving tips. Feel free to share a couple of your favorite tips in the comments below.
I have a new Stamping Julie button. And an easy way for you to add it to the sidebar of your blog. Just copy the html code in the box on the farside bar and paste the link into your sidebar on your dashboard. I hope you’ll enjoy having easy access to this link.
If you read Stamping Julie in a rss feed or email you may have noticed a strange message yesterday called ‘testing’ that didn’t go anywhere. I was testing the new button on my sidebar and it was inadvertantly sent out to the list, but the link was just a test and so it didn’t link to anything. Sorry!
If you include my button on your blog, Thank You! <3 <3 <3
The buttons in the Sale-a-bration Sycamore Street Ribbon and Button Pack inspired the colors for this Thank You card. And they are perfect with the Button Buddies Stamp Set that is precisely tailored for buttons. It’s a match made in stamping heaven! 😀 The light-weight and beautiful Tangerine Tango Ribbon comes from the same coordinating SAB ribbon and button pack.
The matching large scallop punch and the Bitty Banners framelit dies make creating this Button Buddies thank you card quick and fun. Embossing the white background keeps it clean and simple while adding a little texture.
I’m back with another Sale-a-bration Feeling Sentimental greeting card. And once again, I think the vintage stamps in this set are marvelous including this old-time phone booth. I stamped the phone booth on a TopNote shape, die-cut from black cardstock with the Big Shot Die-cutting Machine. I stamped it in White Craft ink and embossed it with white embossing powder.
I centered the Sale-a-bration Sycamore Street Rich Razzleberry button with a rhinestone and adhered it to the card with glue dots. Celebrate was stamped in black and quickly punched out with the Extra-large Oval punch.
