Beautiful photos and landscapes inspiring me. When I saw this picture at Pretty Handy Girl from her trip to Keswick, England, I had to share it with you. This picture moves me to create.
When I saw it, I immediately started searching my memory banks for stamps that would help me recreate this picture on a card and thinking about ways I could use the lines and the colors in my creations. I even thought about painting a stylized acrylic inspired by this photo. If you want to see the rest of her amazing photos of this location you can find them here.
Another crafty friend has been touring Scotland. She happened upon a quilt shop and took a picture of this amazing quilt the shop owner had crafted of her view out her window.
Isn’t the cover so cute? And wait until you see inside. Adorable! And if you are wondering what was used to make a sample you see in the catalog, use the Stampin’ supplies list above to find the specifics.
And check out the new product suites! What are product suites? They are products specifically designed to work together. They include stamps, designer series papers and accessories, like ribbons, buttons, etc. Click through these links to find your style.
The spring catalog is coming to an end today, May 30th. That means Oh Whale will no longer be available. Sad. :'( I love this little whale from the Oh Whale stamp set (wood-mount #129129 or clear-mount #129132) and the coordinating Happy Whale clearlits die that makes it so easy to trim out with lots of fun little accessories. These happy stamps and accessories are all part of the Sunshine and Sprinkles Suite.
Here’s some more of my favorites from the Spring catalog…

The Ciao, Baby stamp set (wood-mount #129645 or clear-mount #129648) is also from the spring catalog and includes this adorable little love stamp that punches out perfectly with the Petite Curly Label punch. The Friendly Phrases and Blissful Bird stamp sets also featured on the card above are retiring too.
The Oh, Hello stamp set (wood-mount #130730 or clear-mount #130733) is part of the Tea for Two product suite. I love the chevron patterns, the bold greetings and the delicate flower included in this stamp set!
And I could not resist the Collage Curios stamp set (wood-mount #129099 or clear-mount #129102) with it’s mini Eiffel tower stamp.
Recently I showed you this card created with the Cross My Heart stamp set (wood-mount #126580 or clear-mount #126582). Fun and simple.
That’s just a sampling of my favorites from the Spring catalog.

I’ve been traveling for nearly two weeks! I was in Michigan with my mom, sister and nephew visiting my brother, James Wells, who is a physics professor at the University of Michigan, but has been a research scientist at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland for almost six years.
Then my husband Ron, and my son James and his friend all drove to Texas for spring break. We first went to my daughter Kristin’s to help them move into their brand new house in Georgetown, Texas, a suburb of Austin! It was so fun to see them and especially to squeeze on our cute grandbaby, Siena!! She calls us Nini and Papa, and it is so sweet!
