Just Believe Just For You CAS Card

just believe just for you card www.stampingjulie.comThe Stampin’ Up! retiring stamp set Just Believe, Bonnie Klass and the Sunshine and Sprinkles designer series paper were the inspiration for this clean and simple (CAS) card. (The complete supply list is at the bottom of this post.)

I love this layout and have used it numerous times over the years, so when I saw Bonnie’s Open Seas card with the world map down the left side I knew just what I wanted to do. And since I wanted it bright and cheery I went straight to the Sunshine and Sprinkles for color inspiration.

just believe just for you card www.stampingjulie.comThe center panel measures 3-3/4″ x 5″ which allows for a 1/4″ border on a standard 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ card.  This size panel is my go-to when I’m layering color on color.  The circle were stamped in Melon Mambo, Pacific Point, Wild Wasabi, Marina Mist and Daffodil Delight and punched out with the 1-1/4″ circle punch.  After laying them out and adhering the circles to the panel, I used my paper snips to trim the circles at the top and the bottom.

just believe just for you card www.stampingjulie.comI stamped the sentiment from the same Just Believe stamp set and wrapped Bakers Twine around the panel before I adhered it to the card base with dimensionals.  Another option would be to use a mask and stamp the circles directly on the card front.  For more information on using a mask, check out this post or watch the video below.

just believe just for you card www.stampingjulie.comAs I mentioned before the Sunshine and Sprinkles dsp was the inspiration for the colors on this card and I lined my envelope with paper from this pack.  I hope to post a video tomorrow and show you how easy it is to line your envelopes with coordinating patterns.

Something Old, Something New!  This card features the brand new Best of Butterflies stamp set from Stampin’ Up!’s Best of 25 Years series, and the washi tape and designer series paper from the brand new This and That collection.

I used an Easter card to inspire today’s creation.  By using the basic design of a previous project it is easy way to be inspired and quickly design a new card!  And no one will guess you are copying off yourself!

The This and That Epic Day Designer Series Paper inspired my color choices.  To create the butterfly, I used the ‘rock n roll’ technique.  First I inked up the stamp with Daffodil Delight and then rolled the it in Calypso Coral before stamping.   This stamp works perfectly with the Elegant Butterfly punch and I also layered the butterfly on a punched Basic Gray butterfly.

I can hardly believe that Sale-a-bration ends in 2 days!  When Sale-a-bration ends, this Vine Street embossing folder will go away too.  This is one of the three cards we made during the stamp camp over the weekend.  Super cute and super easy!  I love punch art bunnies.  This one is created with two punches of the Small Oval punch and a couple of punches of the smallest petal from the Blossom Petals Builder punch.

teeny tiny wishes happy easter bunny cardThen we added a little glitter to his body and ears with the 2-way glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds.  His little tail is Pretty in Pink punched from the little flower in the Itty Bitty Punch Pack and topped with a bitty Pearl Jewels.

Happy Easter is stamped from the Stampin’ Up! Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Set and punched out with the Word Window punch.  After you punch it out you can feed one end of it into the bottom of the punch and shorten the strip, which is what I did here.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!  I have green inky fingers after painting this Silver Glimmer Paper to create this leprechaun hat.  With all the glittery shimmer of this hat, I kept the rest of the card very clean and simple.

I made this hat with the large circle and oval punches.  The hat ban is a sliver of Basic Gray covered with dazzling diamonds glitter.

To create the neon garden, simply stamp with Versamark on black cardstock and heat emboss with the embossing powder of your choice.  Then use the coordinating framelit die for easy cutting.

Collage Curios I Love Paris In the Springtime

This birthday card just makes me want to sing “I Love Paris in the Springtime.”  The eiffel tower from the Stampin’ Up! Collage Curios stamp set takes center stage but the swirly background from the Hearts a Flutter tag helps it along the way.

Each tag was stamped and then punched out with the Postage Stamp punch and popped up with a Stampin’ Dimensional.  I loved using the 2011-13 In Colors for a perfect spring color palette: Calypso Coral, Lucky Limeade, Pool Party and Whisteria Wonder with a little Pink Pirouette added in.

Happy Birthday is from the Itty Bitty Banners stamp set and cut out with the matching Bitty Banners Framelit Die.  I showed a sneak peek of this card over on Facebook a couple of weeks ago.
