I just couldn’t help but fall in love with the Oh, Whale stamp set and this fabulously fun Sunshine & Sprinkles designer series paper! (This stamp set and dsp will be discontinued at the end of May.)
I kept it simple again by using the same card layout from yesterday’s butterfly creation. And the matching whale sizzlit die makes it a snap to cut this little baby out. I added a touch of Dazzling Diamonds glitter to highlight this cute Melon Mambo creature, and after trimming it out with the coordinating Happy Whale clearlit die, I popped it up with dimensionals. (A clearlit die is a die with a window for perfect placement.)
I also added a little Dazzling Diamonds glitter sporadically to the ‘waves’ in the paper. I stamped ‘hello baby’ from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set in coordinating Pretty in Pink (a color retiring next month).
This butterfly card also includes the Elegant Lines embossing folder which is on the retiring list and will no longer be available after the supplies are depleted. I love this embossing folder and I’m sad to see it go. You can view more projects made with this embossing folder here, here and here.
I used an Easter card to inspire today’s creation. By using the basic design of a previous project it is easy way to be inspired and quickly design a new card! And no one will guess you are copying off yourself!
The This and That Epic Day Designer Series Paper inspired my color choices. To create the butterfly, I used the ‘rock n roll’ technique. First I inked up the stamp with Daffodil Delight and then rolled the it in Calypso Coral before stamping. This stamp works perfectly with the Elegant Butterfly punch and I also layered the butterfly on a punched Basic Gray butterfly.
I love this Bakers Twine storage idea. I’m definitely going to do this!!

TAKE A SNEAK PEEK AT THE SPRING SURPRISE – A Round Array stamp set and coordinating scallop punch bundle available now.
I was able to customize this birthday card with the new Designer Typeset clear stamps. Did you notice the name in the banner at the top? These clear stamps are great for placing your letters and stamping right where you want to. And they are pliable so I could curve my banner too.
The bright colors are compliments of the Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper which is available for FREE with a Sale-a-bration order. But the sale ends today so act quickly! I love this paper because it’s so bright and cheery and the patterns coordinate so well together. I just used both sides of the paper to get that playful look.
A couple of silver brads hold the contrasting strip of Sycamore Street dspin place. The dark Island Indigo color is perfect for a masculine card. I also kept the stamping unfussy so even with the lively patterns it still has a masculine feel.
I can hardly believe that Sale-a-bration ends in 2 days! When Sale-a-bration ends, this Vine Street embossing folderwill go away too. This is one of the three cards we made during the stamp camp over the weekend. Super cute and super easy! I love punch art bunnies. This one is created with two punches of the Small Oval punchand a couple of punches of the smallest petal from the Blossom Petals Builder punch.
Happy Easter is stamped from the Stampin’ Up! Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp Setand punched out with the Word Window punch. After you punch it out you can feed one end of it into the bottom of the punch and shorten the strip, which is what I did here.
