I could not resist combining these Christmas stamps from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog into one Merry Christmas card. This little gingerbread man from the Scentsational Season stamp set fits perfectly in the Perfectly Preserved mason jar.
I stamped the gingerbread man in Early Espresso on Whisper White cardstock and cut it out with the mason jar Cannery Set Framelit Die. His cute little bow tie is from the Joyous Celebrations stamp set with a little detail added with a black Stampin’ Write marker. Then I stamped the jar with Black StazOn ink on a window sheet and layered that over the ‘gingerbread man’ jar.
The Old Olive lid was die cut out of the Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper with a baker’s twine tie. The Top Note Die background is in Real Red cardstock with a layer of Real Red pattern paper from the same dsp paper pack. Merry Christmas banner is from Owl Occasions stamp set.
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with lots of food, family and friends. We enjoyed our weekend very much, catching up with family, playing games, going to a couple of shows and watching some football.
This Stampin’ Up! Christmas in the Heart gift box is an “in a snap” project found here.
Hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving with family and friends. We took a last minute trip to Nashville to be with family. We had planned to stay at home because of work schedules but then schedules opened up and so we jumped in the car to be with aunts and uncles and cousins! We played games, watched movies and ate LOTS of pie.
I really love this mason jar stamp from the Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Preserved stamp set. I especially love it stamped in StazOn ink on a Window Sheet. And to make it even better, using the Cannery framelits to trim it out in a snap with the Big Shot Die-cutting Machine!
I stamped the stem in the jar on Whisper White and layered it under the die-cut window sheet. Then I stamped another stem and trimmed it out, adding the leaves and the flower. The flower was created with the Boho Blossoms punch. I punched out several layers pierced the center with the Paper Piercing Tool and secured it with a mini Silver Brad. I secured the flower to the card front with mini glue dots.
The International Bazaar Designer Series Paper creates a vibrant background paper. Using the little flower from the Itty Bitty Shapes Punch Pack, I created three little blossoms with mini Silver Brad centers. Daffodil Delight ribbon adds another splash of color and texture.
I found that using the multipurpose liquid glue was the best choice for adhering the window sheet and whisper white cardstock jar layers. I quickly cut out the banner greeting with the a Bitty Banners framelit. I used a dimensional to pop the banner up.
This adorable little folded Christmas Tree gift card measures only 2″ x 3″ and fits perfectly into the gift envelope made from the Scallop Envelop Bigz Die and the Big Shot Die-cutting Machine.
The fold Christmas tree was made with a half circle of Old Olive Polka Dot Parade Designer Series Paper. I created the envelope with the Real Red paper from the same pack. A perfect Christmas combination.
The Christmas star from Scentsational Season stamp set was stamped in Daffodil Delight and trimmed out with the coordinating Holiday Collection framelit. I punched the tree trunk out with the corner of a square punch.
I stamped the greeting from Joyous Celebrationsstamp set in Real Red and punched it out with the Ticket Duo Builder Punch. I then trimmed the tree and the star with Dazzling Details glitter glue.
The It’s a Wrap Occasions stamp set is perfect for stamping labels to wrap around candy treats. That’s where the name comes from, but like how cute it is as a card! If you look up the stamp set on page 47 of the Stampin’ Up! catalog you’ll notice that this card looks similar to the cute treat bag pictured there.
Crumb Cake cardstock makes a great base and allows the other elements to really take center stage. I used the Wild Wasabi and Night of Navy markers to color the stamp so I could create the two tone effect. I stamped it again in Wild Wasabi to trim out ‘sweet baby’ and pop it up with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
I tied a linen thread bow in the button and used a glue dot to glue it down. The Bashful Blue banner behind was clipped with the corner of a square punch to create the flag ends.
