I’m excited to add this new button to my sidebar. And you’ll notice I have a new tab on my menu at the top of the page too. The galleries are not complete yet but I’ve added a project picture gallery to the site to make it easier to see the projects that I’ve added here. So far I’ve started indexing my cards and my 3-d projects. Soon I hope to have most of those projects indexed and then add the Big Shot, MDS, scrapbook and video tutorial project galleries. I hope you will enjoy this new feature as I continue to develop it.
I do a lot of planning and researching on blogging to bring you the very best product possible. Last year I read an article that stated that craft/project/diy blogs must have a projects gallery. Wow, that makes sense! But it has taken a long time between ‘that makes sense’ and being able to get it done.
It turns out setting up a project gallery is a little more complicated than I originally thought. After searching and searching and asking and asking and so on, I finally hire Kristi from Lanauer Designs to help me get it set up. She did a fantastic job. And now that it’s set up, it’s easy. I can’t believe how easy. But sometimes you just need that extra help.
So have fun in my project gallery and I’ll keep working on getting it set up nicely so you can enjoy it!
You are just 2 minutes away from acrylic-block-stamping mastery! I’ve recorded a quick video to show you how I created this card with my ‘B’ clear block. You’ll learn how to do acyrlic-block and stamping-off or two-tone stamping in the video below.
ORDER THE ACRYLIC BLOCK STAMPING BUNDLE of products below for $51.81 plus tax and shipping, choose the FREE Bloomin’ Marvelous stamp set with your purchase and you’ll have enough supplies to make over 100 cards!
Here’s a clean and simple one-layer Bloomin’ Marvelous card made with the acrylic block stamping technique. Then I just added a few rhinestones and the matching Tangerine Tango ribbon from the SAB Sycamore Street Ribbon and Button Pack for some extra punch. (You can view the video tutorial here.)
Simply ink your acrylic block directly into your stamp pad, in this case Daffodil Delight, and stamp directly onto your paper. I inked the block each time I stamped for consistent results. Then I stamped the Tangerine Tango and the Island Indigo flowers on top of the block stamping. I stamped the Tangerine Tango flower twice before reinking to get the two-tone effect you see here.
The ribbon from the Sale-a-bration Sycamore Street Ribbon and Button Pack is so bright and cheery looking and so easy to work with. It’s lightweight and ties into a know or bow very nicely. And you’ll get the Tangerine Tango, Island Indigo and Pool Party ribbons in the pack.
This Sentimental Journey Island Indigo phone booth card was one of the first that I made with this set. After stamping the phone booth and tearing the paper I did a little sponging and added some hash marks with the Island Indigo marker to resemble the lines in the stamp. I wasn’t sure if I liked it so I’ve been slow about showing it here. 🙂
Remember this Valentine Printable? With just a few updates it makes a wonderful personalized and inexpensive wedding gift. I made a video to show you how to personalize this for any couple and even change the colors to match their preferences and decor.
In this follow up video, I show you how to make a personalized wedding card too!
