I randomly stamped the flowers in Marina Mist and then filled in with leaves in Wild Wasabi. You could use this quick card to celebrate any happy occasion with a friend.

Well it turns out I don’t have any Wild Wasabi ribbon so I used some Gumball Green which coordinated quite nicely in real life but not so much in the photo…yikes! But I’m sharing nonetheless because maybe you can envision it coordinating in your imagination. 🙂

Adding rhinestones to the flower centers is a super fast way to add some bling! I just love these adhesive-backed jewels. I use them on just about everything – even my big toe! My daughter painted nail-polish flowers on my big toes last summer and we added the smallest of the rhinestones to the center. 😀

Glittery Leprechaun Hat Card

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! I have green inky fingers after painting this Silver Glimmer Paper to create this leprechaun hat. With all the glittery shimmer of this hat, I kept the rest of the card very clean and simple.

I made this hat with the large circle and oval punches. The hat ban is a sliver of Basic Gray covered with dazzling diamonds glitter.

Here’s a St. Patrick’s Day treat bag made with an envelope, the large heart punch and a Top Note trimmed piece of Gumball Green Poetry Prints designer series paper.

Feeling Sentimental Note Cards With Matching Envelopes

The Sale-a-bration Feeling Sentimental stamp set is perfect for the note cards and envelopes pack! The rich Lucky Limeade color in the International Bazaar Designer Series Paper used on the envelope flap is just right for stamping the vintage bicycle on the front of the note card.

Here’s the set of three that I made. I chose monochromatic papers to cover the flaps of the matching envelopes for a on-fuss look. I love the simplistic sophistication of a monochromatic color scheme. And no special supplies needed, just paper, ink and scissors!

I used Lucky Limeade, Tangerine Tango and Pool Party for this set with papers from the designer series paper packs SAB Sycamore Street, International Bazaar, and Comfort Café.

I kept these super simple, but you could definitely add ribbon, buttons or rhinestones.

Sketch Inspired! Congratulations, Smarty Pants!

The Island Indigo color is perfect for this sporty pair of jeans from the Sale-a-bration set Patterned Occasions! What a great way to say congratulations – perfect for graduates this spring. I paired the Island Indigo stamped jeans with the Sale-a-bration Sycamore Street designer series paper and added a Tangerine Tango orange flower with a Silver Glimmer Paper punched center. The matching Tangerine Tango ribbon comes from the Sale-a-bration Sycamore Street ribbon and button pack.

I love the way the Sale-a-bration products coordinate this year! Coordinating products make crafting super-dooper easy. I used the Sale-a-bration Patterned Occasions stamp set with the Sycamore Street designer series paper and the Sycamore Street buttons & ribbon for this congratulations card. Bloomin’ Marvelous CAS Sketch Challenge

I love the simple layout of this card created with the Bloomin’ Marvelous and Mixed Bunch stamp set. I love it so much that I’m excited to have you play along! Here’s the sketch. I purposely did not give you dimensions because I’d prefer you customize your dimensions and have fun with it. I love sketches because it makes creating soooo much easier if you already have a design in mind. It’s kind of the ‘complete pancake mix’ of crafting! Instead of ‘just add water’, ‘just add paper’!! Sometimes I like to just pick up a scrap on my craft table and make it work. I think some of my best work has started that way.

Here’s a close up. I stamped the background flowers from Bloomin’ Marvelous with versamark on the Basic Gray cardstock and then stamped the sentiment in Black StazOn over that. To finish the button, because I don’t like buttons without a finish, I added a rhinestone to the top. A super easy solution to naked buttons!!

And here’s another variation. I used the same More Amore Specialty Designer Series Paper (not just for Valentine’s Day) and the same Primrose Petals stamped and punched flower, then changed up the background paper, the ribbon and used butterflies.

Can you see that I heat embossed the butterflies on the background? I also stamped and punched a scallop circle to layer under the button.
