“Stunning!” That’s how a friend described the background of this card at my stamp camp on Tuesday. And those stunning results are easily achieved with the Finial Press Textured Embossing folder. The same embossing folder was used to create the Cherry Cobbler heart. After punching it out the the textured cardstock with the large heart punch, the heart’s surface was run across a white craft padto create the contrast.
The Love tag was created with the scallopoval punch and the extra large oval punch. Love was punched with the scallop oval punch and then layered on top of the large oval punch. Then I punched a scallop oval of Cherry Cobbler clipped it in half and adherred it under the tag hanging out on the ends with brads to decorate it.

Here’s a My Digital Studio project I did this morning. I started out with the Write Stuff II-8 1/2 x 11 scrapbook page template. I rearranged the elements, added a couple of text boxes and that’s it. My finished project is a little less than a half sheet size and it took me minutes to create. I will probably mount this on some Wild Wasabi and Early Espresso card stock to complete my sign.

And here’s the simple, but elegant card I promised:The background of this card was created with the very versatile set Delicate Doilies. The saying and the fun, little butterfly are from the Sale-a-bration set Elementary Elegance. This set is only available until March 31st and is FREE with a $50 product purchase!
I placed the ribbon through the card and ‘around’ the words by placing small rectagular cuts in the white cardstock using an x-acto knife. Of course, you could always stamp your saying on a separate piece and use a cool punch like the curly label punch to step it up.
Here’s a simple card made from the sale-a-bration set Outlined Occasions. I mostly use clear mount stamps now (love, love, love the easy storage of clear mount), but it is also available in wood. The clear mount or wood mount stamp set isonly available free with a $50 product order. Your product order can be supplies or digital downloads!
I case’d this design from somewhere, but I’ve lost my notes and can’t remember where I saw it. If it’s you, leave me a comment so I can give you credit!
