Betsy’s Blossoms Happy Independence Day!

Happy Independence Day!  Here’s a unique way to use the large blossom from Betsy’s Blossoms stamp set – as color bursts.   Midnight Muse and Real Red are the perfect color combination to celebrate the 4th.

This ‘happy’ banner is from Itty Bitty Banners and actually says happy birthday but by layering the tag and changed it up.  I wanted a red ‘burst’ layered beneath 4th and didn’t have anything that was the right size to place under the 1″ circle so I pieced a couple of large punched flowers from the Boho Blossoms punch.

I stamped the blossom with Bashful Blue before stamping the sail boat in Midnight Muse.  Then I stamped the sails in red, trimmed them out with my Paper Snips and popped them up on Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The final detail was adding Dazzling Details glitter glue.

Enjoy your Independence Day Celebrations!  I’m so thankful for the freedoms we enjoy in this great country and grateful to all the men and women that have made & make these freedoms possible!
