Stampin’ Up! Layered Labels

I love coordinating products and that’s exactly what you have with the Layered Labels Stamp Set and the Apothecary Accents Framelits! The Comfort Cafe Designer Series Paper was the inspiration for the color scheme.

Adding pearl accents, seam binding ribbon and punched images adhered with dimensionals creates lots of interest and texture.

The label framelits are super easy to use. I just stamped my label, placed it on the cutting plate for the Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine, centered the framelit on the stamped image and ran it through the machine. Then I ran the designer series paper through to create two more labels to layer on the card.

Guest Blogger: Savannah!

Introducing a new generation of stampers! Here’s the card my 3 year old granddaughter sent to me a couple of weeks ago. And I received the sweetest call yesterday from Savannah thanking me for the little stamped card I sent back to her.

She was so excited to get this card that I stamped about five years ago and that was still lying around in my stash. Isn’t it great to be able to make hand made creations for the special people in your life? Savannah is already learning that at just 3 years old!

Betsy’s Blossoms Lots of Love Card

This slide card is magical. From the front you can see the flower peeking through the circle window, but when you open it up a message appears.

I made this card before the end of the last catalog period. The sentiment here is from Curvy Verses which retired last month but is still available as a digital download. The Pocketful of Posies Designer Series Paper also retired, but again, it is available as a digital download. I love these funky flowers from the Betsy’s Blossoms stamp set. The stem was created with a white gel pen.

Stampin’ Up! Betsy’s Blossoms in In Colors

I really love this large blossom in the Betsy’s Blossoms stamp set. It’s such a spectacular image. And in the rich color of the new In Color Midnight Muse, it’s a definite Wow!

In addition to Midnight Muse, I used In Colors Primrose Petals and Summer Starfruit. And with the new style firm foam stamp pads, it’s a breeze to stamp dramatic images.

To create the lovely bird, I stamped it twice and snipped out the bird with my paper snips, which was then adhered with a Stampin’ Dimensional. Then I snipped out just the wing on the second bird I stamped and adhered that with a Stampin’ Dimensional to the wing of the first for added depth.
