Stampin’ Up! Flowers

Only 3 days left of Sale-a-bration! Don’t miss it!

I love combining these stamp sets: Mixed Bunch and SAB Elementary Elegance.   The word phrases in Elementary Elegance are so lovely and it’s so easy to create something fun with the big lovely flowers of Mixed Bunch.

I saw this color combination – Elegant Eggplant, Concord Crush & Melon Mambo – in a splitcoaststampers.com color challenge.  I also used a scs sketch challenge to create this card.  What inspires you?

The flower has four layers: 1.  Concord Crush Mixed Bunch flower stamped on Whisper White punched with the Blossom punch.  2. Concord Crush punched with Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer punch.  3. Mixed Bunch center stamped in Melon Mambo punched with 3/4″ circle punch popped up with a Stampin’ Dimensional. 4. The same centered stamped in White craft ink on Melon Mambo cs punched with 1/2″ circle punch.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Mixed Bunch clear-mount or wood-mount, SAB Elegant Eggplant
Paper: Concord Crush cs, Eggplant Envy cs, Melon Mambo cs, Whisper White cs
Ink: Concord Crush, Whisper White craft, Melon Mambo

A Sprinkled Expression Smile!

Only 3 days left of Sale-a-bration!  Don’t miss it!

Here’s the girlie version of this sale-a-bration Sprinkled Expression card.

Exact same layout with some subtle changes that make it distinctively feminine.  I changed the colors from blues to Melon Mambo and Pretty in Pink, used the scallop square punch for the center piece, scallop polka dot ribbon and a rhinestone brad

Wonderful little dimensionals were used to pop up the scallop center piece.  Paper snips scissors snipped out smile and snipped a dimensional in half to pop up ‘smile’.

Card recipe:
Stamps:  Sprinkled Expressions
Paper: Melon Mambo cs, Pretty in Pink cs, Old Olive cs
Ink:  Melon Mambo, Old Olive
Embellishments: Old Olive Scallop Dotts Ribbon, Rhinestone brad
Tools:  Scallop Square Punch, Dimensionals

Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration Congratulations

I created this masculine congratulations card with the Sale-a-bration set Sprinkled Expressions.  This color combo and layout were inspired by samples in the Stampin’ Up! Idea Book and Catalog.

I like the color on color here with the stars stamped in Not Quite Navy ink on Not Quite Navy card stock and then layered on a larger square of the same color.  Dimensionals to elevate the stamped cardstock makes this layering work!  (Dimensionals are double-sided adhesive foam dots.)  Also, “You did it!” is used for the background and the focal point.

When punching out the focal point, remember to stamp first and then turn your punch over so you can see the placement of your stamping in the punch ‘window’.  This makes for accurate stamping every time.  And Paper Snips, Stampin’ Up!’s thin-bladed scissors, make it really easy to cut out the highlighted words.

Card Recipe:
Stamps:  Sale-a-bration Sprinkled Expressions
Paper:  Old Olive cs, Not Quite Navy cs, Baja Breeze cs
Ink:  Old Olive, Not Quite Navy
Accessories:  Dimensionals, Old Olive Ribbon, Neutrals Brads
Tools:  Curly Label Punch, Paper Snips

This Sale-a-bration Sprinkled Expressions masculine card was inspired by the Stampin’ Up! Idea Book and Catalog, and you may be looking for inspiration too, so contact me today for your copy.
